This is a hand-made item made of Jesmonite, and may have small air bubbles, texture and imperfections.
This item has a light coating of acrylic sealer which will protect against splashes, but it is not waterproof. This item may stain if it comes into contact with water. Not food safe.
Please note:
- Due to the handmade nature of this product there may be variations to how the product appears in person. We have tried to photograph this product as close to it’s real life appearance as possible.
- To ensure optimal finish the item should be resealed every 6-to-10-years. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Our home decor items are all currently made from Jesmonite. It is a water-based resin. There is a lot of greenwashing around this material, with some makers proclaiming it as ‘eco friendly’. This is a misinterpretation! Jesmonite is a more eco-friendly alternative to epoxy resin, and it is non-toxic.
We do not claim any items from our store to be ‘eco friendly’ as they are all luxuries. We do promote sustainable choices at Aomi Home. What makes this piece a sustainable is if you keep it, and care for it for a long time.
